Second Grade Teachers

Annette Pursell is a graduate from Page High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from Tennessee Technological University. She began her teaching career with Metro Nashville Public Schools where she taught second grade for seven years. She has spent the last two years teaching second and third grade at Spring Hill Elementary.  

When she is not teaching, she spends her time with her family. She and her husband Jacob will celebrate eight years of marriage this July. She is the proud mother of three beautiful children: Annalee (6), Benton (3), and baby Gracelynn who joined their family in February of this year.

Jane Woody attended Maury County Public Schools from first through twelfth grades. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University and then her Master of Education degree from Vanderbilt University. She has taught for 24 years, all in Maury County.  Four of those years were in preschool special education. The remaining 20 years have been in kindergarten then second grade at Spring Hill Elementary. Ms. Woody enjoys creating hands-on, engaging activities that make learning fun for her students. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.
